About this site

This site has been funded through the Commonwealth Governments Marine and Tropical Science Research Facility program (MTSRF).  This website has been designed to easily integrate with the Reef & Rainforest Research Centre website (RRRC), which contains an enormous amount of information on all programs and research, and results as published.  It aims to target the tourism industry and the wider community in an easy to understand language on the research projects which provide common and good research for the end user.  It contains a comprehensive summary of the four Themes (Water Quality, Status of the Ecosystem, Risks & Threats and Sustainable Use) and associated programs, with links directly to the relevant area of the RRRC website which explains in detail each program and research being undertaken.  Impacts of MTSRF
